I disregarded Damon because I was comparing Bonnies reaction to Caroline wanting the necklace with Damon's influence and Caroline wanting the necklace without Damon's influence. It's how she treats a friend, regardless of any influence. Had Caroline asked her the necklace back in normal circumstances, would she still be defensive? I don't think so, she would only ask why trying to understand Caroline.

But it played a part in how Bonnie reacted, so...

Under "normal" circumstances I think the whole conversation would have gone differently in the first place.

Either way Lynn I think we both agree that it's good that the writers aren't just shrugging off what had happened last episode. So continuity is good.

Stefan/Elena scene. Stefan says that he's going to quit school. Elena is all angry and sad saying that he just wants to stay away from her.

Bonnie/Damon scene! GOSH. So adorable. Damon wants that necklace so bad. Little Witch. Damon knows that Emily has been haunting Bonnie. Clearly, there's some history between Damon and Emily.
