IMO, not soon. It seems like in 3x02 Caroline would be too busy dealing with her own problems, who knows how long will it take. Stefan doesn't want to stay in touch even with Elena and Damon, so…

I hope we'll see some new parallels, though.

I re-watched first episodes two weeks ago. I know it's stupid, but I really liked that the last song in 1x01 is "Never say Never".

I don't think it will be soon too but as I said many times before, with TVD you'll never know

So I think any given episode they can throw a scene in there
