Actually, my expectations is that we're gonna have scenes only by mid-season, but I don't know... it would be an awesome surprise if we had one sooner

For some reason I actually think we get scenes quite soon, at least little scenes. Maybe they won't be too friendly and obviously nothing like flowers and rainbows, not with what Stefan is going through now, but I think SC will share scenes and their SL's will somehow meet. Idk, but I just have this feeling

Im also trying to not get my hopes up too high but I think it's a possibility we'll get even a very small scene in 3x05

right now Ill just be happy seeing them acknowledging the others existence

Yeah, it's most likely not be a very friendly meeting, with hugs and kisses but I believe it will be something very strong that might tick something in them just by seeing each other. To me, it's a natural thing Stefan wanting to protect Caroline so I can see him taking on Rebecca. Sorry if it's a spoiler but I'm assuming you already saw the promo

I am awful when it comes to staying spoiler free, I managed to do it for the first couple of episodes but then I caved and I went on the spoilers board

so no worries about spoiling anything for me, I'll let you know if I ever decide to go on the 'wagon'

But yeah, I can see Stefan protecting her from Rebekah, I'm just really excited to see Caroline and Stefan featured in the same story, their stories have been so seperate these past 4 episodes, the fact that no one even knew Caroline was missing sometimes makes me think I'm watching two different shows

Sure thing and even if we get no scenes, we'll be here to keep eachother sane until we do

I agree Sheida, this beginning really looks like we're watching not even 2, but 3 different TV shows (The Jeremy storyline, where Elena only found out just in the last episode).

Like I said in a post I did on Tumblr, I still don't know what Caroline's main storyline will be this season. Will she be hooking up with Tyler the whole season? What are they exactly? Will she have family struggles again? To me it's not really defined what's her big purpose this season. I really hope it's by colliding with Stefan's storyline that we'll see her major plot

It better be something bigger. I don't want her to be reduced down to just a love interest. That would be such a disservice to her character, after all that growing up she did over the course of the last 2 seasons, becoming a vampire, the struggle with that, etc.

That's why I didn't like her storyline much in the second half of S2. To me it was too much Matt/Tyler/Liz drama, if it wasn't for Candice's amazing performances I would be very bored then and I'm starting to get a little now. Seriously, if it was another actress I don't think I would at least tolerate. Her character is just too great to be just a love interest, it has so much levels that can be explored, so much dept... That's why a storyline with Stefan and Klaus would be perfect for her this season

I wanted someone to vid them with this song for so long
