"You don't have to pretend with me" is probably my favourite scene of theirs. It is just so simple and yet so perfect. Just the two of them understanding each other so well and being able to just be themselves with each other

Yeah, to me is tied with the bathroom scene. In these moments they can both share so much, be so sincere with each other and with just a look, see how the other is feeling...

Here we see Stefan knowing that she's not okay, that she does need support and he's there for her. In 2x09 we can totally see in Caroline's eye that she knew she hurt Stefan for not telling where Elena was, and we can see that she felt really about hurting her friend

I love the bathroom scene a lot, it's probably tied for me as well, but still I think I love this one just a little more He just knew she was unwell and he didn't need het to tell him that to understand it and understand what she needed at that moment

Yeah, I've noticed that as well She really was hurt and upset that she had to lie to Stefan, because their friendship means so much to her

It does mean a lot to her, because he was the only one who was there from the beginning helping her. And he found a friend in her, a friend he didn't have since Lexi.

And one thing I love about them, and I read this on a fic too, is that they CHOSE to be friends. Elena and Bonnie were practically born with Caroline so they are the "We've been friends since before we even know it" And Stefan didn't like to get close with other people, it just wasn't him.

But she got to him, she hit him in a spot where only another blond vampire had hit. And she saw a friend in him that it's not like her other friends. He's different somehow. He grounds her, he takes care of her, he listen to her. He always know the right thing to say

True, I think it is pretty telling. Stefan was probably the only person who chose to be friends with Caroline, who chose to care about her and be by her side and protect her in every way. He wanted to be her friend and that is the most important thing Stefan is not the kind of person to easily let people in and yet he let her in and he understands her so well, he believes in her.

Not expecting it either, but as I said this whole hiatus, I would not be surprised if they throw us a scene for shock value To make people go "Oh, I wasn't expecting that!" you know? I would be happy as hell But no, I'm not expecting

I was really sadden with the lack of concern coming from Caroline about Stefan. I get she's looking out for Elena, but we got zilch from Caroline. It upsets me at the same time doesn't surprise me. I worry how they are going to handle these two this coming season.
