I did like her with Matt, but I guess their timing wasn't the best as a couple and they worked better as friends.

yes. they were ok. I didn't like her in season 1 at all. Season 2 when she becomes a vampire, she is getting better.

^ I start liking Caroline more in the History Repeating episode when we saw how much she valued her friendship with Bonnie and than when Matt's mother came to the series. But I truly began loving her when she became a vampire as well.

I love care because she's so real and relatable for women today. I loved her with tyler klaus or enzo the most. But I don't like how she acted w stefan. I love care when she was strong and independent. I feel that changed in the later seasons.

She became the best female character on TVD to me, hands down. Regardless of who she was hooking up with. She's her own woman, who she's with doesn't define her.

Yes I feel like her character was at its best in seasons 2 through 5.
