This is so powerfull if you think about their love story, neither of them really know what love is and what it makes you do and what you'd do for it until they met each other He has a toxic idea of love bc of Katherine's manipulations and Elena was so young and naive, they changed each other prospective of love for real

Nope, we know Elena enjoyed every second of the ride

I love to see them back there and think "How young and naive they were, not knowing what the future had prepared for them, they went through so much"

I remember everyone complaining how moody and broody they became after the break up, pushing them to get back together to spare them the misery of having to stand them like that

So strange to rewatch their scenes in season1, they were so fetus, not trusting each other in the beginning, fighting... and then they got to know each other and became friends

Its sad not to look forward to anything for them, I agree, but at least we can stop stressing about their ending knowing they ended up together. That still makes me ridiculously happy just thinking about.

Season 1 was so fantastic, its still my favorite season and one of my favorites for DE's journey as well. Elena really great to trust him pretty earlier on and Damon falling in love with Elena was incredible to watch too!

I am currently rewatching season 6 and I just love their story that season too. Elena just found out she had compelled her feelings for Damon away and even her just telling Liam her boyfriends name was Damon gave me the feels.

So there weren't any deleted scenes for these two on the dvd?
