Oh well, at this point it depends, half of the times he seems logical enough to remember her, so I guess we may get one

Next episode need to be better, the promo is terrible, but maybe they'll surprise us with DE scenes

One thing is sure: they'll need to explain alot.

Promo's can be deceiving. I remember that horrible Western promo, and the episode wasn't even that bad.

So there next week episode and a break and then after that two more episodes before Christmas break.

The writers need to explain everything before the Christmas break or people are just ganna give up and wait till the series finale to watch the show again.

They need to start with DE mentions again to bring him back, they can't keep him like this until the end

I wouldn't put it past the writers to have him remember on the series finale when he see Elena right in front of him.

Then two years later we see them as a family.

Can see it happen, but i hope not , that'd be so expected, I'd prefer him to remember slowly, but already now... if he ever forgot at all

Am I missing something? What's gonna happen in 8x08?

I think this storyline lasting till the finale would be too long and probably too boring. But somehow it would be nice to see that it was Elena who saved Damon.

I agree, it should be her, but at this point I think mentions aren't enough, there must be more, like pics or memories
