Yeah, it was supposed to remain a secret, he didn't want to be the hero, to show his most selfless and kind side, to have to live on her expectations... but she fell for him anyway, she got the chance to see his kindness anyway

Elena has always been the one to comfort him, encourage him to see the bright side. She was his sunshine, and now she's gone. I think he'll be the only one grieving her. Ok, Alaric aside maybe. I want them to talk about Elena and what she ment to them. I was always kinda annoyed how TVD villains feeded the haters. It's time to hear something good about our heroine.

I think they will all grieve her, or miss her, but Damon surely more than the others

TVD villains should kiss her feet, they knew nothing about her and her strength

Kat calling Elena dull and whiny, Rebekah calling her a trollop...no wonder she got haters. Elena is actually one of the strongest characters. She is still kind and compassionate, after everything she went through (at such a young age). Most grown-ups wouldn't survive or become cold and bitter.
