I don't believe a word of the contradicting interviews. Damon will grieve her, period. She is his life...he wanted to marry her and have his kids. I want to see Damon looking at pictures, having a breakdown (after a frustrating conversation), and visiting the cemetry. Elena did the same...we're not asking much.

I won't even ask I don't think it'll be as strong as Elena in 6x01, but the two situations are very different, they themselves are different, I think it'll be more about him being moody and sad and dark than crying around And maybe mentioning her some times, it'd me nice

That's why I was so angry yesterday. Well I don't mean crying per se, but having an angry moment. Like staring at her picture, feeling stupid for his selfless choice, and smashing it. Although I won't complain if they show a tear (like in 2x08).

He also lashed out about the Stefan-problem in 6x17. So I can perfectly imagine him doing this again. It's Elena after all. Ruining his own bedroom.

Him destroying their bedroom would be so symbolic It was their safe-place, the home of their love in so many ways, and now that she's gone it's just full of memories and half empty

I remember how much I adored that scene for Dalaric, having it for Delena too would be precious

Yeah Damon cannot enter the tomb, but he can sit on the bench. I imagine him talking to her, his voice breaking when he says he's missing her.
