That's EXACTLY what I though the first time I saw the episode.....that thing is erasing Damon's memories about Elena??!!!! NOOOOO!!! I mean, Elena IS his 'weakness', so he needs 'not to remember her'....and if this thing is in Damon's mind, it will know that Elena is 'out of the equation' for a long time.....but let's hope not!!!

Edit : And yessss we survided this HORRIBLE season without our cupcake little angel!! Congrats to all of us!!

Yeah....I'm really starting to think that the loophole will be Alaric's little girls.....see, they HAD to use them for the Vault....they are starting to do magic, it could be it. It would be a explanation why the gang didn't find anything BEFORE the girls were 'old enough' to do magic. I'm surprise that Jeremy OR Bonnie didn't try to find ANYTHING...I know Nina didn't want to come back, but I found it OOC that ANYONE is TRYING to find something. Its like....ok.....it's that, so be it.

I mean...Bonnie doesn't have magic anymore....Valerie could come back and give the idea about the girls.
