 That's the beauty of character development.  Someone had an idea for the final TVD scene. That Damon & Elena visit the graveyard with their child(ren). You know, to put a rose on her parents grave. Coming full circle since 1x01. |

I never thought about it for real... the children yeah, but I thought they could adopt them to give them a family and a house, never thought there was a chance for them to have a family on their own as humans
