TVD characters seems to have a selective memory, and DE have to proof themselves over again.

Oh well, what do they know about DE? Only Damon & Elena know their entire story.

Yeah, I don't even care at this point what characters think of them, Delena know each other and their love and what they've been trough and what they've learnt from that, that's the importance
