THE SALVATORES ARE COMING TO TOWN — With the holidays in full swing, a search for Julian leads Damon and Stefan to a small town outside of Mystic Falls. While managing a holiday toy drive at Whitmore College, Bonnie (Kat Graham) seeks help from Nora (guest star Scarlett Byrne) and the two strike up an unlikely friendship. Elsewhere, Caroline (Candice King) does her best to navigate her new life as a pregnant vampire, while Alaric (Matt Davis) grows concerned that the pregnancy is effecting her more than she’s letting on. Finally, after finding himself at odds with Damon, Stefan is forced to take matters into his own hands, setting off a tragic chain of events that leaves their lives changed forever.

I hope this episode is good. I love holiday episodes, but TVD isn't that good with them.

Just an observance? How can a vampire give birth to a baby seeing as how vampires can't breathe?:look:
Since I don't want to give spoilers to shows I'll just say I've seen a vampire give birth once and a stake to the heart was needed for the baby to get delivered.:look:

I haven't been watching the past two episodes so I don't know if it was explained.

Damon... I understand his hatred towards his mother and I agree with him saying how death doesn't change the horrible things he's done, however that is a bit hypocritical to me because I can remember when Damon was on the deathbed during the Season 2 finale, and he apologized for the wrong things he did and asked Elena for forgiveness which he did get.:look:
In general though, it is in character for Damon to not care when people die... first Katherine, now Mama Salvatore....:look:
I agree with Stefan for calling Damon out for not forgiving Lily.. of course I understand Lily made her mistakes but it's the hypocrisy I don't like.

I guess I just think everybody in this show has done bad things. lol

Now to the episode... I really still can't believe Caroline is pregnant. lol Talk about so predictible.
This Caroline/Alaric relationship will take some getting use to.:lol: I enjoyed their scenes tonight though.

Bonnie was so awesome tonight! I loved her answering the phone for Damon in sarcastic way that was well deserved. He is very predictable isn't he? lol I still enjoyed the scene though.

The Nora and Bonnie scenes were awesome! I would love for their scenes to continue. I always wanted Bonnie to find other friendships outside of the sort of crappy ones she got now. lol but of course she couldn't be trusted. lol
I love Bonnie giving words of advice about relationships this season. :lol: First to Enzo, now to Nora! you go ahead Bonnie, strong female character alert!

I loved Nora telling Bonnie:
"It's nice having that one person who doesn't need anything from you. Just. Loves you and thinks your the most amazing, beautiful girl in the whole world."

I think even though Bonnie doesn't need anyone to tell her she's beautiful, it would be nice to actually hear it sometime so because Nora did the betraying, I loved the scene.

Both Stefan and Damon are trapped in the Phoenix Stone.:eek: Interesting twist.

Stefan is acting like an idiot.
Damon is the biggest hypocrite.
Caroline and Alaric acting 'buddy buddy' is too weird.. they have no chemistry.. not even the friendly kind :nono:
Stefan and Valerie together in the Flash Forwards.. predictable and gross.

No wonder why I gave this show up :sigh:

Nora and Bonnie were cute :love:

Alaric and Caroline which was so weird to me initially are surprisingly enjoyable :eek: I'm not minding it anymore.

And Stefan and Valerie who had zero chemistry in 7x03 have improved in the chemistry department.

And I like Damon again after all the annoying things he did in season 6. Season 7 has been a good Damon season for me. He was a tad hypocritical but at least he was smart enough to try to stop the reckless revenge plan. So he gets points for that.

Who knows? :lmao: But on the DE season 1 roadtrip Damon said if you drink a healthy diet of blood your body functions like a human. So they can eat, breath, go to the toilet etc.

Stefan and Valerie are cute :love: I think they have good chemistry, but I think Paul has chemistry with everyone :shrug::lol: I am just glad that he isn't alone in the flash forwards.

Stefan's story arc this season is very interesting. It's one of the first seasons where he isn't chasing down a girl, he has a storyline that is his own and that is nice to see.

Paul has chemistry with a lot of people but the 7x03 SV was just so hard to watch for me. If I'm subjected to more SV at least I find the chemistry better now.

I think he might still be chasing a girl though. Don't really expect this SV thing to last whether it's fake or real SC seems to be what they're aiming for even if they're doing a bad job of it.

oh damn just when I start to like Nora she has to come barging in daggering people!

Any ideas why Valerie was still glued to Stefan's diary with a random unconscious woman in the background? This character is so hard to figure out. One moment it looks like they want us to like her but she continues to do weird shady stuff.

I'm sure they'll redeem her. At least she has an excuse. And they're putting effort into making her relatable.

yeah im still not liking caroline and alaric together in any format.

caroline at the cemetery visiting her mom was a great scene.

i was kinda like bonnie and nora hanging out.

UGH stefan and freaking valerie in the flashfoward? no thank you!!! still hoping its all a plot or something.

bonnie/nora stuff was okay because i like different interactions but at the same time i dont care about nora so it was a little boring.

i never thought the bonnie/damon thing would interest me the most but it is. i love their interaction whether is stays a friendship or something more than that.

the caroline and alaric scenes were fun. I’m slightly interested in that as well. i dont think caroline looks 17 nor do i think her and alaric look that far apart in age to be talked about the way they were.

caroline at her moms great was one of the best scenes. what a sad moment.

the ending scenes with damon and stefan both going through the same thing was hard to watch.

I think it was more the professor/student thing that got them talking and not the age difference.

Christmas episode! Yay! I loved all the decorations and music in the episode.

I hate that Stefan and Valerie are together in the flashfoward. Again it feels OOC for Stefan to be with her after everything. Whatever happened with Caroline it just doesn’t make sense to me that he dates her. But in a way I guess it’s good to get some closure on that relationship. I did like that Stefan went after Damon and Caroline.

Caroline and Stefan being apart from one another still is annoying. I want to see coupley moments in the limited time that we have them. It just sucked that she was going through this alone. The scene at her moms grave was so sweet and so sad. At least S/C had that nice moment at the end.

Caroline having these crazy mood swings due to her pregnancy was weird but seems right considering she’s extra hormonal. I actually liked the Caroline and Alaric scenes but only as friends.

Damon/Stefan together was great though, I always love when those two team up. Damon drinking makes it obvious that he is obviously hurting over Lily’s death. Sucks they didnt actually kill Julian. Cant wait for him to die. Only 2 more episodes I believe lol... Damon dying at the end.. :bawl: (even though we have seen it a million times :lol:). Of course i loved seeing Stefan’s reaction. Then Stefan getting staked with the sword too. :eek:

The Nora and Bonnie scenes were really fun. I liked seeing that interaction. They should have made that a romance. Mary Louise is dull. And I can appreciate Valerie more now that she is at least working with the brothers.

Ready for this hunter storyline and the flashfoward now.
