Well, the cure for vampirism was something that was in the books so I can see why they would bring it into the show. And they made it so they're able to bring it up now because Klaus finally saw someone who was a part of "The Five" and he hadn't seen anyone from that group in over 900 years so now of course, he finds one and wants cure Elena so she can go back to being his blood bag, so they explained away why it wasn't mentioned before. However, this is just too soon in the series to be happening - if at all. I guess this is a better reason for Klaus to stay in town instead of guarding Tyler - the hybrid that isn't even sired to him but it's still too soon.

Well, I avoided reading the books but believe it or not, I think I will now. Maybe in literary form I can find a way to accept a "cure" for the "undead". But I mean, really? I know that vampires already defy the laws of nature. But, once people can die and roam and then be alive again, I mean .. where will that end. Everyone will become a vampire just for a little while to have some kicks and then, when they're ready to grow up, boom. I mean, what?

Ah, but with real TVD's twists our we really to believe that its gonna be Elena thats cured? If I remember correctly from the books, it was Damon that got his humanity back.

The show is going backwards not forwards. So over Elena fickleness and her running back to Stefan when someone sees her 'misbehaving'. Let Damon free. Let Elena go back to Stefa. They can bore each other to death and compare notes with Edward and Bella on who is more pukeworthy, sorry more 'perfect' .

What is the point of making Elena an vampire if she going to be human again.

Not a great episode.

I kinda like the idea of the cure but I thought they would save it for the final season, I can't see them cure Elena already.

Also go Bonnie, I never thought I'd say this but her speech to Damon was SO good.

I'm so over him and his trying to turn Elena into him when it clearly goes against anything she is.

The brotherhood of Five has the potential to be an okay storyline, let's see how they treat it.

I was kind of surprised about the episode,from the promo it looked like it was going to be about DE,instead nothing happened,really.

I think everybody were a bit too harsh with Damon. He was teaching her how to be a vampire without killing anyone after all.
I know it sucks the thought of feeding off from people,but it's better this than killing.
Not sure about how I feel about the cure. It seems too soon and convenient.

I seriously hope Rebekah will be un-daggered by someone soon.Like Matt.

Damon was just being true to vampire nature, and from the way Elena was clearly attacking its enjoyable to feed from people. It was only when someone, Bonnie, saw her being something other then a whiny wannabe saint that she started bawling about being turned into a monster.

Even with the lopsided spin on things, Damon still got it right. He drinks blood often enough that he can catch a release without ripping people into tiny bits, IE STEFEN.

Oh well, I'm sure there are tons of people that will try and make Damon out to be evil for this while Stefen, working again with Klaus....putting Rebekah down after she opened up just so she can't ruin their plans....hiding all of this from Elena....., yeah real Saint behavior there.

Liked Matt's snarkiness at keeping the truck. Didn't know he had it in him.

Bonnie was back for one episode and we've got judgyness and the guy she might like is evil, whats that....3 for 3? Shes worse then a Charlie's Angel. Wanna know who the bad guy is? Hint: its the simi nerdy guy Bonnie likes everytime.

I liked the dinner-scene between Klaus/Rebekah/Stefan. I do not like how Klaus still has compelled waitresses in his mansion. this irks me very very much. but I guess it's in character. I also hate how he treats his sister. how many times can you stab her?? and she always goes back to him. it hurts.

I don't like Rebekah/Matt. it's like Maroline all over again. Matt gives lectures to every girl who is not Elena. it irks me. Rebekah deserves better at this point.

the cure is a joke. it's something like the sun and the moon curse. I just know it.

don't care about stelena or delena. stefan is sassy. damon is fun. elena is not katherine. end of story.

this episode was much better than episode 3. loved the delena dance scene, it was so dirty, it reminded me of skins for some reason haha.
the cure : really? so i bet elena will be human again before the next season.
rebekah is such a great character, i hope she's not gone forever. although i doubt it.

and, it's good that the ratings have went up and it's back in the 3m section.

the triangle is ruining the show. it all stems from the fact that elena is horrible, no offense to nina but elena is becoming a major setback on this show. i can't see this great empathy she is supposed to have. she just looks like a selfish bitch.

A part of me thinks that Elena was also feeling a bit guilty because in that moment she was having fun with Damon and she had forgotten about Stefan and it was almost like something could happen between her and Damon and bam Bonnie walks in. So its not only about feeding off people.
So theres more to the professor than meets the eye.....and I hope Rebekah is back soon she always gets staked and double crossed.

It totally could! I think the cure was suppose to be for Stefan and then Damon takes it not knowing what it would do to him. So if they really do develop a cure in the show for vampirism, I can see it not going to the "correct" person. I guess it also depends if it's a limited or limitless supply.

Me too at least it's his parting gift after Rebekah has been put on hiatus yet again.

Rebekah got stabbed again. Sigh. She just can't catch a break. And there she was making friends with April, more or less trying to lead a normal life. Then walks in Stefen who manipulates her for Klaus and when they both got what they wanted? Boxed her up so she can't tell on them.

Hey Bonnie, how about you call Stefen on his behavior? Don't remember you giving him lip for his summer long spree killings
