BORN TO BE WILD — Connor (guest star Todd Williams) continues his search to uncover the secrets of Mystic Falls and tries to convince Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) to work with him. With Dr. Fell’s (guest star Torrey DeVitto) help, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) question Connor, but the confrontation takes a lethal turn. Trying to keep her new life as normal as possible, Elena (Nina Dobrev) is determined to continue her senior year at Mystic Falls High with support from Matt (Zach Roerig) and Caroline (Candice Accola). Rebekah’s (Claire Holt) arrival at school makes it difficult for Elena to control her anger, but she learns that confronting Rebekah can be extremely dangerous. Later, Rebekah realizes how alone she is, and reaches out to April (guest star Grace Phillips). Stefan (Paul Wesley) takes Elena on a thrilling motorcycle ride in an effort to show her that life can still be fun. Tyler (Michael Trevino) gets a surprise visit from Hayley (guest star Phoebe Tonkin, “The Secret Circle”), a werewolf who helped him through the ordeal of breaking his sire-bond to Klaus. Concerned about Elena, as well as his own emotions, Stefan turns to a sympathetic Caroline for advice.

Stefens out to teach Elena....fun? Seriously? Brooding, I could understand, split personality I get, but fun? In the last 4 years what fun has Stefen had other then going crazy and slaughtering people.

I see Bonnie wasn't on the list.

Jeremy....a vampire hunter? Isn't most of his friends and family vampires?

Rebekah and April? We'll see.

Elena...you fail at life. I'm sure unlife wont be any different.

Stefen turns to Caroline? Eck. We don't need a square on this circle.

Tylar and fandom female wolf? Yeah, thats not a set up for jealous Caroline at all.

I miss their friendship. We need more scenes like these.

Why wasn't Bonnie there on the 1st day of school? I guess if nobody needs her for magic, they don't care about her.

And really? Tyler cheated on Caroline? Anything to justify Klaroline, I guess.

He didn't deny anything so I don't see Tyler getting away with it if he actually did anything with Hayley.

looool tyler proven to be the douche he is, what a shocker, and a perfect way to setup klaroline. now klaus can say he saved caroline's best friend and he knows his competition with tyler is practically non-existent once she finds out about this.

all this episode told me was to stick elena with damon and let them be happy in their bloodlust and let steroline be together and continue fighting the good fight. though, we know that ship ain't ever gonna sail.

glad we at least got a scene with them. also happy to see just a little klefan. matt continues to be absolutely and utterly useless, how is he not dead yet omg

Klaus accused him of letting the sexual tension getting the better of him(Tyler) when he was away or something like that. And Tyler didn't deny it. He just told Klaus to shut up. The scene seems to indicate that he did, but Tyler didn't verbally deny or confirm it.

Wow, I can't believe they went there with Tyler/Caroline. I knew Hayley would cause problems but I didn't think Tyler would cheat. Whatever, Caroline's officially too good for Tyler and Klaus, find her a new love interest.

This DES triangle is seriously unbearable, btw. Why is every episode DE vs SE, Damon vs Stefan? I just don't see why it's necessary. Can we not just see how Elena's becoming more like Damon, does a hallucination need to let us know? I find it so tired at this point, and it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense. Yes, Elena is angry and out of control-ish, but I don't think she's that much like Damon at all. She's depressed and super compassionate. Just because she wants to kill, which is kind of her nature, doesn't make her Damon. Especially since she's gonna hate herself the second it happens.

But Stefan and Caroline are PERFECT

Best part of the ep for sure. They have such good chemistry and an amazing bond. Their first scene was super cute and their second was beautiful. Love them.

Where is Bonnie and why does no one care? Elena and Bonnie's friendship is kind of a joke at this point tbh. Like I'm sure Elena will call her up when she needs a spell, but these two are so far from what they were in S1 that Bonnie shouldn't even help her anymore. Clearly Matt is Elena's best friend.
