I didn't like the twist.. i think everyone called it Shocking would have been for her to not come back to life. It would have also been more interesting seeing how they defeat Klaus without their secret weapon. I think magic is way too nifty and convenient on this show

Mmm.. i think that's it.. i'm glad i finally got DE scenes, and Klauric is amazing!! But i didn't LOVE the ep.. i guess i had my expectations too high.. so much talk about it being EPIC it was alright

I didnt find the twist shocking first because it wasnt the end of the ep. when Bonnie died so I knew something was up, and when they cut away after Bonnie and Damon talked I knew they had a plan.

"The I will always choose you" scene...yeah he needs to say that about Katherine to Elena. he is not even romantically involved or [inlove] with Bonnie and Bonnie would gladly let him die and choose Elena over him as well...so I didn't see that as a big moment....though I did enjoy all the DE scenes in this episode. but him saying he will always choose Elena over Bonnie wasn't really a big moment...since Bamon doesn't have those kind of feelings for each other.....yet!!

He needs to tell Elena he will always choose her over Katherine and then we are talking!

Elena mentioned Bonnie not dying for her in the talk though, so i think he was just clarifying that just because Bonnie was ok this time around doesn't mean he'd do it again. That he's not going to follow Elena's demand about Bonnie not dying just because he promised to listen to her, and if it came down to it, he would break Elena's promise again to save her. I don't think it was about choosing Elena over Bonnie or not. He was being straight up and telling her he'd do anything and everything and choose her above everyone and anyone always. No matter what her wishes are.

I'm really not even say that with shipper glasses cause I always look at things from all angles and I really enjoyed the DE scenes tonight! especially the fun dance one BUT that scene wasn't big...cause Damon and Bonnie both would gladly choose Elena over each other. so I just saw shipping pimping for that scene...
