The only thing I didn't really like about the Twilight mythology was that they sparkled in the sun. I thought that was kinda dumb. I did however like how indestructible they were. I think it made vampires like Victoria and James that much scarier that they couldn't really be killed, except by another vampire or a werewolf. I thought that was cool.

Yeah well I like Twilight vamps athough I have to tell you I like all kinds of Vampires..I read about so many kinds. VD Vampires are pretty interesting since they have the power to mess with peoples mind and change the weather and such...oh not the weather but fog.

Yeah. I really like that they have those powers. Not just for controlling people, but animals, and the weather too. It's really interesting.

We have to note though that the more powerful a vampire is in Vampire Diaries, the more weaknesses they have, like the inability to cross running water. And another cool thing about the VD vampires is that they can turn into an animal, well, in the books they can, but in the series the crow was Damon's familiar

I didn't have any problems with the sparkling vampires in Twilight. What I didn't like is that you have to mutilate the vampire and burn them because their body parts can volt in. I thought it was a bit too corny to visualize. I hated zombie movies. But I do love the different powers some of their vampires have. Interesting if they work together.

We need to have a list of qualities of all these vampire myths we are talking about in the OP. I'll work on it.

Well the older vampires have the most power, but because of that power they're more susceptible to things, like not being able to cross running water. I'm not sure why though. You would think it would be the other way around.
