And before I go. Kem - I know. And like I said - she'll always get hate from SE and DB fans. But generally - I don't think neutral viewers/casual viewers will get to that point where Elena is just ridiculous. Like for example, Kate on Lost. The majority of viewers of this show are the casuals in my opinion - who don't get crazy like us - and I feel the writers will always make Elena relate-able. Anyway, I gotta go sleep now!  Damon would never have let Katherine waltz on in there like that - he would have at least warned Elena. I will only accept this theory if the first scene of Season 2 is Damon rushing in to check on Elena  However I do agree that he was thinking WTFFFF?
