Yeah, I love Stefan/Bonnie scenes.

well hopefully once Stefan goes back to normal, they'll focus on his friendships again

I don't know...a pattern you think? Because I could see why storywise in the beginning of S2 Bonnie was a bit more distant towards Stefan but that went away eventually. To me, here, it just seems like really strange that he hasn't had scenes w/ Bonnie or Caroline who helped so much last season. Not that I don't enjoy Stefan's scenes w/ Damon or Klaus but he's also effected Bonnie and Caroline's life too so it's just...strange.

Well yeah I get the reason why that happen too, but I do think it's a pattern. He had scene with Alaric, Matt, Bonnie and then Caroline. All of which have been dropped. Heck he has scenes with Jeremy and that's been dropped too. I understand he couldn't really have any scene with them since he was away, but we haven't heard not one of them show any concern about him or talk about him. I would think we would have seen at least Caroline and Bonnie trying to help look for him or show some worry, but nada. It's like their relationships never existed. It just really annoys me how the writers have handled all of this.

I agree I don't think he will go back to "normal" either. If that was normal in the first place. Yeah I think the Stefan we saw in the first two season was part of him, but I do think he holds part of himself back. The vampire side. I think this whole experience will change him.
