I'm trying to find a reason to like this season so far but it's really hard.

All I can take from it is that it's obvious Hayley still has feelings for Elijah. It's just a matter of whether they will have the chance to come into play before the end of the show and lead to a happy ending for the two of them together.

This season is starting out pretty boring for me and each episode gets worse. Way too much focus on Hope! And someone that really never warmed up to Freya, there is too much of her for my taste as well. Cant stand Elijah's new love interest and I hate that he is barely on the show. Don't even get me started on the Hayley storyline. UGH. Dont have high hopes for this season thats for sure.

I literally can't with this season. There is not a single good thing that has really happened so far to make me want to watch it.

I'm properly alone and rewatch later as a binge instead of weekly could change my mind

but ain't hating the season

Yes it sucks that Hayley died

and yes it sucks about Elijah but

at the same time even as a big time HayleyElijah along with everybody with how both characters are favorites

So at the same time

its pretty interesting - Greta's reasoning plus her clan

related to her revenge for her beloved plus its not that far of a stretch that eventually somebody would be up in arms over Hybrid's

Plus I feel Hayley's scarfice as bad as it sucks made total sense

plus Elijah - even if he wasn't OUR Elijah, the "suit!Elijah" - felt that no matter what with or without his memories he is still the nobleman. He went to help Greta under the thinking that he was helping Anitonnite - being the one that he loved and wanted to help

So again I may be alone here but

I must just be cursed or gifted that its very hard to piss me completely off where I still tend to see the underlining

Plus I hold hope with 5 episodes left

Hayley being brought back

so ain't done with hope yet

This season has been painful honestly. The episodes where Elijah doesn't have his memory are SO hard to watch.

Painful but I am not that angry

I feel its an intriguing storyline especially related to Hope - not having her father for 7 years, than losing her mother and her decision to take back the Hollow

so it sucks but I can appreciate the storyline at the same time

I didn't mind the Hope/Klaus stuff in fact I loved it. Just hated the Elijah stuff.
