The moment I fell in love with SE, oh gosh...it had to be the pilot when Bonnie was checking out Stefan's behind...Elena proceeded to take care of Jeremy and then she bumps into Stefan outside the Men's room! That scene gets me laughing and squeeing every time!
  In terms of being together forever, I guess the scenes and moments they exchanged, the ILYs were all indicative of it. Also, the whole scene with Elena saying it wasn't passionate with Matt was kind of a foreshadowing indicator I feel. __________________

I don't think it was a particular moment for me. What made me fall in love with Stefan and Elena was not only the chemistry between them, but also the potential love story. There are so many possibilities with these two. They were both so lost and just going through the motions, and then once they met you could see the life brought back to them.

Their chemistry is undeniable. I really liked that quote about Stefan being dead, Elena being dead inside and how they brought each other to life. It's so true! They were meant to find each other and are perfect together.

For me, it was a slow process. I immediately liked them as a pair and loved their scenes and was really sad when they broke up in 1x06 and itching for them to get back together. I think the scene that really hit me was the 1x11 scene where Stefan tells Elena about how she looks like Katherine and that she was adopted and says "It doesn't matter. You are the woman that I love. I love you." And you realise it's got nothing to do with Katherine and he's genuinely fallen in love with Elena for who she is, not what she looks like. Then after that, seeing them deal with all their problems and work so well together as a team. By the end of the first season I was hooked on them.

This might be way too predictable, but their reconciliation in 1x10, with the face stroking and her "I know what I want, Stefan I love you"  was what sealed the deal for me |

Beth, 1x11 was such a great moment for them. It really got to the root of it all. The fact that Stefan saw she looked like Katherine, but was willing to learn who Elena was and how different and beautiful she was, just warms my heart. When he said that I just melted!
Edit: Isn't it? I love that quote. It's such a perfect way to describe what they do for each other. Despite the difficulties that arise, they bring each other so much warmth and life. Vashi, that 1x10 scene was so beautiful and perfect! __________________
