I don't believe that Kol took off with Lucien. I'm pretty sure they abandoned the first sired when they knew Mikael was on their trail. I mean I know that Kol went off on his own not long after, but I don't believe he was with Lucien. I think he went to hang with a bunch of witches, but then again even trying to follow the timeline they set up before it will always be retconned.
