im glad rumors were running a long time before because had i gone into it blind i would have been even more devastated.

what helps is knowing paul is alive and well and its just a show and its the end. its not like they killed him mid series or anything lol.

He burnt it in a S7 flash forward when Rayna got released

And there was no logical reason to burn it since she tracked him with the scar and not his car. And in that same episode in the present timeline he was telling Lily she can take the town and his house but to leave his car the hell alone

I guess it was just to get a shot of Paul walking away from a fire for dramatic effect

Okay. I must have missed that episode. It sounds like a dramatic scene.
