It was a good suprise. Paul did a great job too. I knew immediately it was Silas by how he was standing and the general air about him.

I was shocked that he was in the finale! I didn't even think of Silas as an option of people to see anymore even though I knew he was on the other side. It was good to see him have one last hurrah but I don't think realistically he would have told Bonnie the spell because he would lose his leverage over her. However, for the purposes of the story they did it that way. I'll miss his pop culture reference!
