Also, we're talking about making a very powerful witch even more powerful... Elijah has to consider that she could come to be a real threat to them at some point

Which explains why he's handing out one page a week lol, but we could have still seen a thank you or sign of appreciation after she unlinked two people without realizing it

Elijah wouldn't bite a child, but he certainly wouldn't hesitate to manipulate one
