I didn't like that he sort of used her.... I think that well explained she could've understand that they would be helping each other out.
In the end he just manipulated her to get what he wanted, just like Marcel did

Instead of what, not coming back and breaking his words? That is not Elijah, he would come back with something for her.
I don't see why she wouldn't help, she doesn't like the witches, all he had to say was that the witches made a spell to link someone he cared about in order to blackmail TO to help them take down Marcel. Why would she be against taking away the leverage the witches (that she hates) have over TO?
