I know exactly what you mean. His gifts are probably like second nature to him. So it will be hard for him not to use them.

I would think it would be a struggle for him to not use his powers to show these kids what he really can do. I mean it must be frustrating at times to have to act a certain way especially when your are older than age you look. I've been pretty bad about guessing things, so we will see.

I love how sweet he can be around girls but then around his brother he is more his vampself and angry. Paul plays that so well and Stefan definetely isn't one dimensional.

I totally agree!

"Good Guys" are always pegged as one dimensional, but I so don't agree with this at all. They have as much bad things happen to them and sometimes worse than bad guys they just choice to take the less easier road and that road is never easy. They always have to struggle with the darker part of themselves. Stefan is a great complex character and has many layers. I can't wait to see more.

I totally agree, i never have seen the good guys as being one dimensional, its' alll up to the writers and and how the actors portray them.
But there are so much more to them than people realize. I can't wait to see more of Stefan's past.. as i have a feeling, it has been a dark one.

Paul said that Stefan might be madly in love with Elena but that still doesn't change what he is. And I'm glad he plays it that way, because Stefan does have to go through that struggle and it's nice to see the different sides.

Yeah, i love when he said that. Because it's how i always pictured him.. i never saw him as just 'good' Not even in the books.

Yeah, especially not in the books. He'll go to great lengths to protect the ones he loves and since he has that kind of power, why not use it

There is a kind of violence in him.
