Yeah she is, you can clearly see she's in denial. With Matt, you can see he accepted that Jeremy is gone.

Part of me still believes these two will be endgame so if he could some how get her to turn her humanity back would mean a lot.

Wow you do, so you don't see her ended with any Salvatore... I think Elena will end up with Stefan.... I haven't watched in awhile, and my goodness has their relationship changed. lol But I think it'll end like that, especially since Elena is a vampire.
If Elena was an mortal, I'll probably will agree with you... and it'll be a nice ending.

Agreed, I think it was a high chance when Elena was mortal... but I don't think they'll end up together if Elena is a vampire.
Matt is the one with the most normal life...

oh they would work! but I don't think she'll ever love Matt in that way again. I think she just sees him as a friend now, especially since she has feelings for the Salvatores

It's too bad, it'll be nice to see more flashbacks of their relationship... I just want to know if Elena was ever in love with Matt... or did she just date him because he was "safe"

I don't think Elena would date someone without having any feelings at all. thats something Caroline would have done back then

I think they definitely had something special but after her parents died they grew apart
