fascinating episode!

Loved seeing Kolvina but it didn't really make sense to me that there was no Marcel/Davina scene.I'm not even a huge Marcel fan but other than Kol, he was the most shaken by the loss of Davina even still to this day he hadn't moved on so there should have been some kind of acknowledgement of that imo.

Great episodes. One of the best this season. I love that that Freya is determined not to let Elijah die, and the whole family pulling together to find the hollow totem (with the exception of Kol) .Elijah had been there for them in the past, it nice that they want to be there for him. I didn't like Kol going against the family. I was hoping we will get Kol bonding with his sibling, but it's seem like that's not going to happen anytime soon.
Marcel and Rebecca: He is using her. Last week he was proclaiming his love for Sofya, this week he's making out with Rebecca?! I think he wants something from Rebecca, or need her for something:goof: I love Kol bonding with Hope (although he was using her to break the Hilton's bond to Davina) it was nice to see another side to him. I also doesn't blame Klaus for being upset. Kol basically put Hope life in danger. However I loved how Klaus's heart melts at the mere mention of Camilla's name. This is the third episodes in which Vincent didn't appear in. As a matter of fact we haven't seen Vincent since Marcel gave him back his grimoire. Question: Freya said that in order to bring Elijah back that they must kill the hollow, or someone else. Freya at that time was thinking of sacrificing Marcel. Freya was able to bring Elijah back, so who died? (Note:They didn't kill the Hollow) When Davina returned did she still have her powers? The hollow was know for killing witches and taking their powers. So when the hollow brought Davina back did she still have her powers? Josh heal Davina, was that before , or after the hollow was killed? The hollow is hiding out in Hope's body. Why did she chose Hope instead of Davina? Is Hope more powerful then Davina? |
I love the chemistry between Marcel and Rebekah but he really doesn't deserve her tbh. Every time it comes down to making a choice, he never chooses Rebekah and I'm so glad she finally called him on it.
I think Hope's supposed to be the most powerful witch there is now. |

Marcel said that every since the Hollow left Sofya's body that he haven't been able to wake Sofya. Do you think the same thing might happen to Hope? |

I understand Kol and Davina were in a rush to leave but my thing is Davina told Josh she heard everything he said every time he came to visit her which means she heard Marcel as well and knew what her death did to him, for God's sake the man started a war over her death and yet not even a mention of him? It was just weird to me Quote:
Hm, I'm not sure. Hope is a powerful witch whereas Sofya is a vampire so maybe that makes a difference? The writing has been on the wall for Hope being possessed all season though so I kinda figured that's where they were going with it. |

I actually really liked Rebekah and Matt but I think that ship has sailed  Quote:

They said they were leaving town and it showed then driving off so unless something stops them, then I believe so. |
Ha ha I liked Rebekah with Matt too. However, I think it was still more of a fling for her, to show that she really would like to live a human life and have a family.
I liked this episode, but some things didn't sit right with me. You all make good points as to why it did not. However, Rebekah and Marcel did make sense to me, because they have such history, and I'm glad they brought it up again, since they really haven't done it justice. I don't think of Rebekah as sitting home and mooning over Marcel, however, nor does Marcel apparently, since suddenly he's SO "in love" with Sofia. However, they will always carry a torch for one another. It's just the writing has been inconsistent for Marcel, especially considering he's supposed to be a main character. I like Marcel's interactions with Klaus this season, but there are also plot holes I didn't notice that you all point out. You are right Lady Katherine, why doesn't the Hollow just kill him and take his power? Why did she not take Davina's power? Davina was too weak? I don't remember, I thought Marcel said goodbye to Davina before she left, but you are all saying she didn't mention him, or at least didn't give their relationship its due, which I may have felt as well. I think what I liked least was that Davina went from being a bad ass to a love sick puppy all over again, which is what I never liked about Kolvina. Don't get me wrong: I'm so glad they brought her back to life and that they got a happy ending. It was also a clever solution, because they don't want to add her back to the cast, nor Kol, for some reason. I'm also glad she's back to being herself, whereas last week (?) she was acting like the ancestors, manipulating everyone. However, it doesn't make sense why she suddenly doesn't seem to care that The Hollow could destroy the city, as long as she gets to be with her boyfriend. It would sit better if she just needed a holiday, but I don't know if it's just that. I did love Hayley's seeing "Jackson" again, and that she is wrestling with her feelings for him and for Elijah and how she wants to raise Hope. Good to see Freya in action too. Kol interacting with Hope was very interesting, and of course I love any mention of Cami and its effect on Klaus. I wish she'd made another appearance as Davina has. |

I thought this was a pretty good episode! Probably one of my favorites this season...
It was nice seeing Davina back. Kol and Davina are really cute. I miss having her on the show and it makes it feel like old episodes. Kol was also so sweet with Hope. I love this new and improved Kol for sure. Didnt like seeing Kol against Klaus this episode. :( Kol mentioning Cami and Klaus' face! :thud: I am so happy that they threw that line in there. The Josh/Davina scene was sweet. I am so happy K/D got to go off and be happy together finally. I wish we had more friendship moments between Hayley and Freya because they are really cute together. I loved Freya calling her family. I guess it was cool to see Jackson again. I didn't love the character but I like the actor. So I didn't mind it. Until we found out it was the hollow and not even really him lol. I did like the hollow and Hope saying that she loved Elijah but it sucks that Hayley seems to be doubting it. :( And really, do we need to see Elijah hurting Hayley again? UGH. Hayley seems to be going off the deep end just a bit. Her whole speech to Jackson at the end how she should have chosen Jackson? WTF? What is this rewrite crap I cant. Im sick of this bitch. I might be officially off the Hayllijah train... Marcel and Rebekah. Blah. I cant stand them. I see no chemistry there and last episode he was talking about how much he loved Sophia and now suddenly hes always cared about Rebekah? No. She was right when she said he choses other things over her time and again. So dont kiss him girl! |
