^ I agree.... but the KC filled a need for another ship... and when it comes to Kalijah, I can't help but feel like we're always getting the short straw....
Elijah kissed Elena thinking she was Katherine, and then when they said goodbye before he left for NOLA he only kissed her in the forehead... and now Elijah wasn't even there!!!!

Beside, Klaus has an army of vampires, Marcel to protect Hayley....
just saying.. it fits with what the writers want us to see, H/E bonding and being close, etc.

Fits the narrative even if it might be OOC, etc.

I was actually talking about not fitting in TVD world.... it's most likely that no mention to the trip to MF will be made in the next episode, so it would make a lot more sense to have Elijah there and not Rebekah.

oh, well, yeah but this is JP and the writers. I mean, they don't think about stuff like that

what was Rebekah's purpose there anyways? I mean, she saved Matt, ok, but did she do anything else?

Exactly!! It was such a pointless scene that I don't think even Mabekah shippers got that happy about it.... So that's my whole point of the excuse of somebody had to take care of Hayley BS.

Is Elijah even Elijah anymore? I don't watch The Originals because it's boring and I hate everyone but he doesn't even sound like the same character.

TVD Elijah would have said goodbye to Katherine, I bet money on it.

^ That's what I've been saying... the writers are forcing the whole H/E thing so hard that it completely killed Elijah's character... he is a different person, total bipolar and not even the slightest like the good old Elijah that we met in TVD.

I cannot believe that JP thought Elijah didn't have enough honor to go say goodbye to Katherine after everything they went through

well, I liked Elijah and Katherine but never thought he was quite as "noble" as he likes to tell people... even on TVD.

The nobility is very hypocrite on his part... but lately it's really high!
At least in TVD she showed remorse for some of the fake nobility stuff, now he is just on his high horse thinking he is better than others

That's why I liked Davina calling him a hypocrite in last week's episode... that's what I was feeling.

And I think that he was too judgmental with Katherine about her killing Jeremy... I mean, he was all feeling sorry for Elena, but let's not forget that she and Jeremy did kill Kol a few days before

that they did... although Kol did try to kill Jeremy first ( with Damon being compelled) but I agree...

even better though was I think Matt killing Finn? Nothing. No real reason to do that, I don't recall. Finn seemed basically harmless.

He sees the "good" in someone like Haley or Elena, and they have some, they do, I'm not knocking those characters...

but then he turns around and he seems to only see most of the time the worst in Klaus. And Klaus gives him some reason to, but other times its like its his default setting.

I think he is one in some ways, so did I. He might be different from Klaus and the rest of his family with his ideas of right and wrong, etc... but different does not mean better. At least IMO.

I was very let down by the Elijah fake out on TVD.
Just the look on Katherine;s face when she thought she saw Elijah was pure happiness.
He should have been there!

Just to add...I am not a Hayley/Elijah fan at all.
I loved Elijah on TVD...his mystery...
I hate it that he no longer wears the suits. And the whole Hayley thing and their staring at each other ...I just don't get it the appeal.

Katherine and Elijah make so much sense together...they are both older and experienced and have a history. AND they look amazing together.

I actually understand the gang killing Finn, it's not like they were trying to kill him just for the fun of it, they actually thought that they could kill all Originals by doing that, and considering that Klaus was still a pain in the ass for them, I get the reason why.

But Kol's death was just so they could discover a map, I mean they didn't even care that a bunch of vampires would die as long as it wasn't one that they knew about... Selfish.
And then Elijah is all judgmental about the death of one of them?!! Please!!

I even think Elijah doesn't give Rebekah the time of the day.... he has this "I gotta save Klaus" complex now (let's not forget that he did team up with the MF gang more than once to take Klaus down), and only criticizes Klaus (I'm still not over the fact that he accused Klaus of wanting the baby just to make more hybrids based only in Tyler and Hayley's accusation)

ITA with you Bonnie, he is different, but he is far from being better.

Katherine really cared about Elijah, the one and only selfless act we've saw from her was for Elijah when she handed over the cure to him, and for him to not be there in her final hours (as far as he knew) was just rude.
And I'm with Audrinaa in this one, I don't get how interesting it is to see a man that was so focused and mature being in a stare contest with a girl like he is a teenager... sorry, that's completely assassination of his character to me. Also, where the hell are the suits?!! I don't want him walking around the house in one, but he never wears them anymore... it was his trademark (even Sabine referenced that when she first met him)

Katherine is not a good person, but she admits it, and Elijah was the same (before his complex of being better than others hit him), so to me they were perfect for each other..... Damn it!! I really wanted closure for them in the crossover
