Are we sure that chalkboard had "Welcome back Kol" written on it? It seems odd he wasn't in 3x20 then.

I believe it said Welcome Back Kol, but it was cut off after the L, so there could be more. They might have been messing around with the chalkboard, but I hope means good things.

Yeah, I hope it wasn't just a joke from the cast or the crew. Even if it doesn't refer to him, he can still make an appearance on the show till the season ends.
