I enjoyed this episode a lot. It gave me my family feels and a lot of undesirable things were easily ignored. Overall this episode was pretty dang good.

Klaus - Once he got out of his own head I started to actually pay attention and care. I just don't see him being able to let it go with Marcel. Not because he wants to make amends with him, but because he legit can't handle being the one chased off and being shown "mercy". Klaus is the one who wields the power and having Marcel basically taunt him with "you live because I allow it" doesn't seem like something he will be able to let go of. I could see him trying to be satisfied with his family, but making secret plans to take Marcel down.

Elijah - The sass . Loved him being the "dad" and trying to keep his siblings in line. This was the Elijah I fell in love with long ago. It was nice to see him again .

Rebekah - Happy that she chose her family for once over Marcel. I still remember her picking him in s1 over Klaus and it pisses me off 3+ years later . Her scenes with Kol were so freaking cute and I seriously love when they're picking on each other, but also fiercely protective of the other. Also my klebekah heart soared with that hug and kiss . I am a phoenix and have arisen from the ashes after that kiss .

Kol - I'm glad he was playing the cautious and almost scared role of the siblings. Everyone else was just going in guns blazing with no real set plan and he was like "bitch I've died twice now and I am not making it a third because you idiots can't wait until we have a solid freaking plan of rescue". Him risking his life though to protect Rebekah was just perfect . Plus my damn kolvina heart was a mess. The mentions of her and Kol allowing Josh to live because she loved him makes me just.... I'm fine.

Freya - Very little scenes with her despite her being the key player in saving Klaus with her magic. I hope we get more going on for her aside from a few bits of snark and the quick save.

Hayley & Marcel - I don't get why Marcel hesitated in killing her. I mean they weren't exactly close friends and she is helping his enemies. Why does he care if her kid doesn't have a mother? I would think he would be fine with offing her and taking the demon kid for himself to raise and use as a weapon the way he did with Davina. Also sick of Marcel's cocky attitude. He has a legit reason to act like a god now considering he's the most powerful creature in existence and yet he still needed Klaus to do his dirty work last episode. Shut up .

Josh - Cutie . Loved how he was snarking and quipping despite being in a situation that could get him killed. Not really feeling his new boyfriend though. I think Aiden and him had far better chemistry, but happy he's happy.

Hallucination - Let this be the last time. Please.

Overall I enjoyed the episode exclusively for the Mikaelson sibling scenes. Everything else I could have done without.

I liked the episode. It was nice to see all the sibling moments. The beginning with Elijah yelling at Kol because Kols victim kept screaming. That was hilarious.

I thought this episode was great!
It was great to see the family all together again and Elijah and Freya as basically the heads of the household telling Kol what to do and leading the way. It was great to see Hayley working with them in sync too.

It also reminded me of how much I initially disliked Kol--so bloodthirsty--but also of how far he's come because of his relationship with Davina. Originally I found their relationship a bit sappy and ooc for Davina because she fell for him so fast even though she had trust issues and he lied to her. It's clear, however, the impact she has had on him, and the scenes with Josh were great. Ironically, Esther did succeed in helping Kol, despite her methods, by putting him in a human witch's body and removing the bloodlust so that he had a chance to fall in love.

When is Josh going to learn some fighting skills? Surely he was must be kind of strong by now, right? I'd love to see that he can defend himself, although I do love that out of all the characters he doesn't need to fight to prove his manhood or his power and that he is smart enough to back away if he can't win.

I liked the scene between Rebekah and Marcel. I really feel for them, for they never were free to love one another. You can sense all the history between them. This time it's Marcel, however, not Klaus, who is preventing them from being together. His pride and feelings of betrayal. Kol is wrong--he is part of their family by adoption--as is Hayley. He has the kind of power Klaus has-- let's see if it corrupts him as well.

I was so glad to see Cami again and that she helped Klaus overcome his fears and remove the blade. I was disappointed that at first she was acting a bit too pert, like a therapist, rather than someone who loved him--but perhaps that's because she's just a figment of his imagination and he doesn't think he deserves more than "tough love"?

Loved seeing Cami in 402. Love that Klaus is seeing her, that is so cute. I loved her running her hands through her hair. She’s one of the only people that get through to Klaus. (Even though it was his imagination it was still adorable.)

I’m so sick of Marcel and his anger. After 5 years has he not gotten over it? Im gonna pretend its only been like 5 weeks and Hope grew so fast because she’s special lmao. Yay for the Mikaelsons finally getting out though.

I think the Vincent storyline is pretty interesting. Finally he has something to do.

It’s nice to see Josh happy again and with a new boyfriend! I hope he gets an actual storyline this season.
