Yeah that's what I gathered from Narducci.
I think that Vincent and Kol managed to put whatever pieces of her soul that was left back together, but I don't think she was made whole. She said she was in pain and she seemed extremely weak at first. My hope is that maybe that bomb thing that Vincent used will come back into play next season as a way to restore her soul enough to bring her back. __________________

That object was so clearly a convientent plot device. I just think it has more significance than just something that Eva wanted to use to drain power from the ancestors. Maybe Davina trapped her soul inside it or something. It just seems like there has to be more to this.

Yeah I just don't see how they could bring in this powerful mystical object and not use it again or have it mean something more. I just hope the finale has some sort of scene or mention of Davina that could give us hope for her to come back sometime in s4. I mean they did that with Kol when you had both Davina and Rebekah declaring to look for a way to bring him back. I just hope we get something for her.

I'm just worried about Davina staying Danielle. They planned to bring Kol back earlier too and Nate wasn't available so they recasted with DS (which worked out really well tbh). Danielle is a great actress so she might have other projects going on that would prevent her from coming back

I enjoyed both Finns. I think Yusuf did better as a villain though in the role and Casper did well with the emotional/suicidal stuff.
I mean I wouldn't be totally against a recast for Davina, but it's like Rebekah. I liked Maisie and thought she did a decent job, but Claire is Rebekah. Just like Danielle is Davina. __________________
