I think most of what I know about her was from the sides from the pilot, which was basically the whole pilot script.

Me too! I was like, omg, this is the whole episode. And then I tried to not read it, and I think that lasted all of 5 minutes.

But actually, I hope they take Vicki down a different path, I didn't really like/care for her in the books, and I want to like her in the show.

I felt bad for her in the books, so I agree a different path would be nice, but I don't know if they can do that..you know..

yeah they changed a lot. but I'm excited for the changes. some of them were needed

I agree. As much as I loved the books, they definitely need a contemporary make over.

And I'm glad they didn't stick with just the physical descriptions in the book, because I love the cast we have, and I think they're all gonna be fantastic.
