Yeah basically. It's just a good way of making people watch or at least getting them to try.

You know people would tune in if they had some hope for klaroline. That 2 second phone call got so much damn hype, not just with fans, but media too. If the network wanted to cash in they would give TO another short season under the condition that Candice was joining the cast.

Lol they'll prolly get 10 eps if they're renewed again

I can't believe the media is still hooked on that too

It's pretty funny how much the media is still stuck on klaroline, but I think it's mostly because Klaus hasn't had a huge successful ship since TVD. Caroline had moderate success with Stefan I think, but again nowhere near the hype that klaroline had.

Not sure what to make of that, but I think it's pretty interesting she answered with Caroline considering that name was a bit taboo to say if you were a cast member on TO.

It isn't taboo once your ratings are in the mud I guess

But she wasn't obligated to say that so idk why she did

The actors know things don't look good. They went from 22 episodes down to 13. However, I'm not sure if Candice would want to transfer to TO. Well, if the money is right. Also, she's not a fan of the Caroline/Klaus pairing. She's shooting it down every time someone brings it up.

She's always pretty much done that. She was a huge supporter of Caroline and Tyler.

I also know that she's very good at supporting the writing for her character. Candice had said numerous times how she only likes the friendship between Caroline and Stefan, but now she repeats how she supports them as a couple. I don't know if that's just her changing her mind or, as I said, repeating the company line.

I think money talks. If they can afford her then I think she would transition regardless of her own personal feelings about klaroline.

A job is a job so I don't think her liking klaroline really matters, IDC if she joins either way, it wouldn't be too surprising considering how the cast cut off two female regulars

I wouldn't be surprised if she does join (if they get another season). I just found that remark funny/interesting not only because the name 'Caroline' was taboo, but also because she said she had "always" wanted Caroline on the show which I think we all know is a lie :lol:.

It's even funnier considering the feuds she had with her fans months ago

Well some of those fans are obnoxious jerks, but what I hate is that the writers/producers don't see a difference between a character and some of their obnoxious fans.

I know but you're also asking for it when you deliberately attack those fans to start a fight. If they're not directly talking to you, then let them be obnoxious and ignore them

Oh I wasn't even talking about calling out bloggers (the way PT/LP/CM did), but the fans who almost constantly bash these people on twitter over a ship. When it comes to actively searching for the hate and getting angry about what you find then they are wrong. When it comes to responding to people the way LP did when someone wished she had cancer because her character was interfering with a ship they supported it becomes waaay too much and I can't fault them for flipping tables and getting pissed off.

I feel like the death threats and cyber bullying toned down years ago and now it only happens once in a blue moon
