Stefan was amazing as always. But the best thing about this episode was definitely the SC conversation It was a lovely scene and I was really surprised at how mature and stunning SC were

SE were also precious as frack Nina and Paul are so effortless in their scenes together!!

Loved Kai's entrance and the dramatic ending. It was visually stunning.

Nice episode, but quite boring in most of its parts Beside the final scene, that I hate and like at the same time, I found Lily/Bonnie/Matt parts very pointless and boring, the pre-wedding freaking out scenes were funny but just that, and I’m quite disappointed about the Defan part, I wanted it to be about them and have a real talk between them As usual, I save characters and relationships in this show, they’re still the best part of it, gonna miss them a lot


THE BAD:

Matt/Bonnie scenes: bless Alaric to have asked what’s Matt’s excuse to be so annoying, I’ve been wondering the same in the last 2-3 episodes. Seriously, I found them very boring and ridiculous to thinking they could have knocked down Lily so simply just bc she was desiccated a bit (which makes vampires even more dangerous, just saying…), being one human and the other… well, Lily successfully hurt Bonnie twice, she could have easily made that a 3rd time I have no doubts

Bonnie: so let’s see… first rule of the “Vampire imprisoned in basement” book: never go any near the breach in the door!! 6 years and Bonnie still didn’t learn that, clever, I'm impressed, just as much as the migraine of last episode! I won’t even comment her little hunt with Matt, the way they got knocked down and so on speak volumes, embarrassing. But I have to deeply thank her; thank you very much Bonnie to have pissed Kai off bc you weren't capable to fake an apology’s acceptance or just move on or avoid the subject, hope the revenge!thirsty part of you (along with the brothers for the brilliant plan to piss off Mama Salvatore!) is proud of the mess you caused and the consequences that innocents paid bc frankly I don’t see the justice in this nor it's remained a gram of appreciation in me about you. But I guess arrogance is always paid-off, quoting Kai: “Did you think you could keep screwing people over and there wouldn't be any consequences”?

Defan: sorry, as much as it wasn’t as bad as I fear (mostly bc 1)Stefan said Damon had to be sure to be a human again for himself, which I appreciated; 2) Damon said out loud it’s about Stefan fearing to remain alone too which is true; 3)it was all a plan to be so harsh in those hallucinations, not entirely Stefan’s will), I would have preferred the talk to be about the brothers’ relationship for once, about where THEY are right now!, and less forced, unrealistic and pathetic (Damon can’t cook?!? Since when? ) hallucinations, the bros need it and they didn’t get it, kind of disappointed by this

The Red Wedding 2.0: don’t care if it was an homage to the real one, as much as Kai has his great entrance as a villain again, I feel disgusted when children are hurt and put in the middle, so Kai stabbing Jo and murdering (probably) her and (certainly) the twins really made me feel sick Guess the writers wanted the big moment to shock us, I can’t appreciate it bc innocent people got caught in the middle and paid for other people’s mistakes, I find so unnecessary to kill Jo and the babies, can Rick be happy for once, damn it?!?



THE 50/50, ALSO KNOWN AS “DON’T MIND YOU A BIT”:

Enzo: my god, the boredom, he’s like Lily’s lapdog at this point

Lily: not her best episode for sure, really getting tired of her “family” speeches very much, so repetitive. But I guess she kept her promise to show the gang what “misery” means

Liv/Tyler: it’s nice to see the writers remembering of them every now and then. I’m sure they’ll run off in the twilight together, but don’t care so much after she disappeared for so long

Stefan: beside the awful ways he chose to prove his point and his snarky attitude that I can’t stand, I can’t even feel angry with him: 1) the plan wasn’t even his to start with; 2)the visions of Damon’s future were so forced and unreal anyway; 3) he failed in the end and he has Caroline assuring him he’s the good brother anyway, so… not angry with Stefan, but surely I won’t shake his hand and say “thank you” bc I didn’t like the whole thing at all, beside the part of Damon without Elena, very foreshadowing. Preferred his one scene with Caroline for sure

Steroline: I appreciated the talk and the fact it’s not all good after the swithc-off period, makes them more realistic and true But I don’t feel them as much I did once bc of the switch-off mess, so can’t say the scene really made me feel emotional


THE GOOD:

Kai’s return: not because he stabbed Jo and killed the twins, that was disgusting… but damn, it was a sensational return! He’s better in doing just the villain, keep him this way!

Caroline: she was doing what she does best to me, being an adorable control freak when it comes to a big event and she was very funny in reacting when everyone disappeared on the big event, I’m glad to have her emotions-filled!self back

Alaric: “That's because your life has purpose again, it's finite, and it's...pretty much the greatest feeling in the whole world”, I’d love him even just for this quote, finally someone who treasure and values human life, it was about time! He was so adorably happy and carefree about his wedding and the life he was about to build, can’t believe he got screwed once again, that’s act cruelly on him

Jo: she was a sweetheart, funny and adorable with the pre-wedding problems and freak outs, I hate JP for what she did to her, she deserved her happy ending after all the crap in her life!!

Dalaric: small Dalaric scene, both happy and proud of each other for their decision, ready to spend their lives with the women they love… both about to lose them

Stelena: like their scene at the wedding party, very sweet and honest and “conspiratorial”, they should have interacted more in this season, must admit I’ll miss them too

Damon: so proud of him in this scene, his doubts and his decisions too, he grew so much And Damon is suit should be forbidden, that’s universal truth Now next episode will break my heart for him once again, damn

Elena: she was adorable in taking care of Jo, glad she was chosen her maid of honour And her scene with Rick was precious, she’s so happy to be back as a human and when she’s happy, I’m happy I hate the finale, I hate she always ends up to be hurt and never get the chance to be happy, they better not to kill her off for good…

Delena: Elena exaggerated a bit with the whole “forcing hallucinations” thing, but I guess they had to do it. I adore the church scene, Damon’s speech and how sure he’s to become human with her, I knew he would have chosen this, so proud of him Adorable memories of his meet with the old couple, made me emotional, as much as him promising to love her until his last breathe, Elena was worried he had made up his mind for real, deep down she wants this life with him Barn scene was very hot, Elena really didn’t want to stop kissing him Funny when they realized they’re late and Caroline scolded them, and they way they searched each other look at the wedding melt my heart And then, perfectly canon for them, **** happened to them and they’re torn apart again, great

How many episodes have started with Bonnie dreaming? For real.

Caroline is just back and herself again? Felt a bit fast. I did love how she was able to solve all the issues in one scene. And I was glad that Caroline apologized to Elena about the things she said and then tried to apologize to Tyler too. They had very cute scenes together. Well until Tyler got pissed. I wish we saw Caroline apologizing to freaking Matt though!

I was glad to see Liv back for the wedding. But her constant whining in their scene was annoying. Seeing them argue kinda made me not want to see them back together again romantically.

Elena talking to Alaric about being a human again was really great. I loved that moment. (BTW I loved her straight hair the entire episode. The mark of human elena.)

The Stefan and Damon scenes were SO DUMB. Like, I understand Stefan doesn’t want to be alone, but putting these horrible dream sequences into Damon’s head was so unnecessary. And storyline wise felt unnecessary since it didn’t change anything in the long run. But Stefan made some good points. Damon getting a job? Damon not being able to compel people? It just seems too hard after having it that easy. It was kind of funny when Stefan said he and Elena thought they were soulmates at one point too. lol

The fake dream sequences of DE was yucky to watch. I hated that.

It was interesting to see Bonnie and Enzo interacting for the first time really. They definitely did have good chemistry together. So Enzo didnt let her out then? How did she get out? Kai? Somehow?

OMG THE STEFAN AND CAROLINE SCENE WAS EVERYTHING. I love how cute and flirty it was and how obvious Stefan was around her. Boy was so in love already. Stefan grabbing her hand gave me all the feels. I love that she told him she started a list of things that Stefan did that hurt her. And that she admitted she turned off her humanity because of him. And felt like she couldn't control how she felt. I loved when Stefan said that they were falling for one another and thats why they felt the way they did, that loss of control. CAROLINE NOOOO DO NOT REJECT HIM. SFDSFSFSFD. She’s making herself more miserable for no reason. But I guess its understandable. After losing her mom she's afraid to get herself attached to someone else.

The DE scene at the end was adorable. I loved the scene where Damon saw the old couple together. That was so sweet and then when he told Elena he was taking the cure... And then he said he wanted be the father of her kids adfsfsfdsfdss. my heartttttt. Damon is right though. He is in love with Elena and the small chance at a mortal life with her is definitely better than no chance? I mean if he stays immortal and she is human she will just keep getting older. He’s lived a long time. He might as well take the risk with her. I mean, that was basically the proposal scene right there folks. Then, DEX IN THE BARN WAS SO CUTE. And I loved their flirtation still in that scene. And them just walking down the aisle with smiles was so cute. Same when they were listening to Alaric’s vows. AWWWW.

The small Alaric/Damon scene at the alter was really cute.

It sucks that the wedding had to be ruined so quickly after it happened. Like, what the hell. Alaric has the worst luck ever. And poor Jo!

And Kai coming in like that, urghhh. Dude needs to die.
