I would like that. We've already seen them in relationships which lasted a long time where they got to do the couple thing with Elena and Tyler so I just want them to share scenes and grow closer. Besides the DES triangle will probably be visited again and I really hope it doesn't taint SC. I'm hoping by the time the triangle is booted again SC would have decided they're better off as friends.

OMG

Clearly SC won't fall in love and realize they're in love after just 2-3 episodes, it'll take more

Right now we got the first hints, some quotes that can foreshadow it, but nothing more, it's still a long journey

They're moving on from their previous relationships, but it takes time, as it should be

So for now they'll be friends with some awkward and sweet moments every now and then, the romantic stuff will come later

Foreshadowing started as early as season 1, but now it's definitely more obvious.
I don't mind them taking their time. It's good for both of them if they go slow.

I agree it was foreshadowed since season 1 that S/C would become important to each other.

I've only read a recap of the finale but from what I read there was some good development for S/C (with some help from a good friend of Stefan's).

episode was so good. loved all the comments from lexi. and caroline crying over stefan was so genuine and heartfelt.

i loved the last scene too with her just holding him. i was hoping for a bit more but i think next season we'll get there.
