It wouldn't be as frustrating if they'd mentioned it once or twice. But constantly and then no dance? So messed up.

The build-up was pretty large for it

They should never have done that especially if it wasn't gonna make sense to give it on screen

I think they might have originally intended on Hayley, and Elijah reuniting in the after life, but change it at the last minute. I do not think Klaus was supposed to die. Just Elijah. But Klaus last line about he wouldn't let anyone sacrifice themselves for his daughter is J.P deciding to change the ending. I don't think they had film a after life scene for Klaus, so they couldn't show Hayley, and Elijah without showing what Klaus was up to.

If you think about it really didn't make sense for both Elijah, and Klaus to die ,and leave Hope unprotected. They showed Hayley with Jackson. But we all know her heart belong to Elijah.
