Why we love Haylijah,

Why do I love Haylijah? I remember after the directors cut was made, I hadn't seen it yet but I found a Haylijah video "Hayley and Elijah | It happens in a Blink" and thought "Hmm.. Hayley and Elijah never thought of these two as a couple but it could be interesting.." Then I watched the video LOVED the video and the idea of this couple so much from that video, I watched the Haylijah scenes from the directors cut and every possible Haylijah vid out there, which wasn't much at that time only 2 or 3. Then waited for The Originals to start and once I did, I just fell more and more in love with this couple, the way Elijah is always protecting Hayley, the looks they give eachother. I don't know what else to say these two have so much chemistry it's ridiculous. I find myself looking for new vids/arts/gifsets everyday of these two I can't possibly get enough of them. And I'm just waiting for the moment when we finally get a kiss. That'll be the day.

I have never watched The Vampire Diaries before, but as soon as I watched the pilot episode of The Originals, I was hooked. It wasn't Klaus. It wasn't Rebekah. Nor Marcel or Davina. Of course, it had something to do with Daniel Gillies who plays Elijah (okay, I won't lie. It had a lot to do with him). But the relationship of Elijah and Hayley is what really drew me to the show. From the moment Elijah saw Hayley, the look of awe on his face said everything, like he had never seen anyone or anything more beautiful than she was. On my face, it was the same awe for this couple. Hayley has come to be used to the men in her life disappointing her, yet here was a gorgeous man, promising her a family, protection, and most importantly, (unsaid) love. You could tell she did not wanted to be swept off her feet by him, but slowly she gave in. When Rebekah told Hayley that Elijah had been in touch and that all he asked from Klaus and Rebekah was that they take care of her, the smile on her face said that she believed his promises, that she trusted him, that it confirmed he was not like the other men in her life. Viewers knew this as soon as she slapped him upon his welcome back from being kept in a coffin, daggered. If she didn't care for him, she wouldn't have bothered. Elijah has been there for her, to the best to his ability. He is torn because he knows that she is carrying his brother's child, yet the attraction, the chemistry, is too much. He was the only one who wanted to unlink Hayley from Sophie. When he held her in the pool to calm her heart rate down, he was the only one who could do so. He was willing to search for her in the woods all by himself. He makes sure she gets the correct nutrition needed for the baby too! She is his first priority. While there has yet to be a kiss or a verbal confirmation of their feelings for one another, their glances, their stares, at one another says everything. You could see the love radiating from their eyes. No matter how much they will continue to fight it, they know that sooner or later, they will have to throw in the towel and give in. They are destined for one another.

Eva:
This couple has so much potential for drama and breaks rules in so many ways. They are a Vampire and a Werewolf (Romeo&Juliet anyone?), she carries the child of his brother (positively weird), they are completely opposed, yet wonderfully fitting, characters and of course they look positively gorgeous together. I don't think I could ever be bored by their interactions, they just seem right together.

Elijah is a gentleman through and through the way he carries himself the way he cares for her and her feelings*! The way he makes her feel safe and respected as a person absolutely swoonworthy*! This is the way a woman should be loved this is what falling in love should feel like: the magnetic pull , the hesitation, the neverending glances ,all these epic moments that preceed becoming a couple and i'm going along for the ride because I don't ever want to get over the way they look at each other!

I've been a fan of Hayley and Elijah since the first episode, which I was checking out on a whim. I could see the chemistry leap off off the screen. I was hooked. They are such a fun couple to ship. The people on the H/E thread are hilarious. Stay awesome! Hands for the win!

I tried to make the OP look the same like the normal threads but add more of the celebration stuff instead of other things but I had to keep the shippers and future thread titles in it
