Yes, I am hoping too.
But for now, our main hope is for Damon to get out of that cellar. He will be VERY angry at somebody! Stefan and Zack better watch out. And Elena doesnt know anything about him being locked up, lol. __________________

Totally. Elena should lock him out of there. She can be his savior
In the books he was her Savior  Stefan should not have locked him in there because he should know that Damon eventually would come out of that room. He's the most dangerous thing anyone will encounter. So he will be out soon __________________

I felt terrible for Damon in this episode. Poor guy was going to be killed by his own brother. I don't care what he's done, or how he claims that he has no humanity left, and although he spends an eternity making his life a living hell, he has NEVER physically hurt Stefan in a fatal way. And them having a good portion of D/E in the promo just screams to me that the writers are recognizing their potential. I'm excited.
