I've said this many times, the writers have ruined her character. The old Elena would of mourned him for days and days.

Ohh I was really disappointed with Elena's reaction to Stefan's death

I know that they were all planning on trying to get people back from the other side and all, but it wasn't a sure thing and she didn't even acted she was sad.

I know. Like he died, and she didn't even cry. Doesn't she remember that he saved her from the grief she was feeling.

^ right? It's not like I wanted to cry a river or spend the whole episode mourning... but I think that Elena would've cry a little about him being dead and all.

This has made me dislike Elena.
Let Damon and Elena be together in all their dysfunction and let Stefan find someone who is worthy of him.
I would rather see him with someone who cares and respects him, the way Caroline does.

Compare Caroline's reaction to Elena's...it upsets me so much. There's no comparison.

It's a fact, ever since Elena became a vampire - she hasn't been the same. She used to be so compassionate and selfless, now it's all about Damon. I know she loves him, even if it's not a healthy relationship I still think they do love each other, but her character used to care about EVERYONE so much. Elena was willing to kill herself, with Damon, because she didn't want to live without him ...what about her friends, Jeremy, her future? So disappointing.

She's grown in some ways, but honestly - she's hardly the same character.

I love SE god knows I do. but the way this Elena is right now, she is not right for Stefan right now. She has some major character growing to do before she can even think about getting back with Stefan ( if they even want to go back in that direction )
