i think they were trying to imply that he lived longer than elena and when elena died she saw her dead family but Jeremy wasnt dead yet so he wasnt there yet.

That's a nice way to look at it.

I'm still annoyed that they didn't have him and Elena in a small scene. I would have accepted them in a quick flash of her talking about her life in MF with her family at the dinner table and Jeremy sitting there as well.

That makes sense, he is the younger sibling afterall.

It does suck that they didn't share a scene together again. I'm glad to have seen Jeremy but if were to come back ideally he'd be with his sister.

That makes sense of course, but at that point they could have either showed a scene of them while still young and alive or simply added him in the afterlife, he's not that younger than her, he could be dead without problems Its just that I think the scene of the Gilberts would have been even more emotional if he was there too, seeing his parents and uncle/aunt again too, he lost them so young too

JP made a comment about Jeremy walking Elena down the aisle at her wedding, don't know if it's an actual scene or just a comment of her, that'd be nice to watch too

they could have included a quick flash of the DE wedding with jeremy walking her down the isle UGH. that would have made it 10x better.

but yes i agree, jeremy should have been in those ending scenes 100%

If they really shot it like JP said it (Jeremy giving Damon the middle finger to welcome him in the Gilbert family), it would have been funny to watch, not just touching for the two Gilbert siblings But I think she was joking about it

Pity, still hope they have something in the cut scenes

I get if it was about time management with Steven's availability, but then they should have really just included his scene in a different way and not has some extra at the xmen school .

On one side I'm glad he didn't, look at Tyler, wwe could risk that for Jeremy too

On the other side, I'm sorry he didn't have a reunion with Elena, it was already disappointing 6x22 when she let her go just like that, but now I wanted a beautiful reunion hug for them
