Her throat was slit and she seems to be dead . There's interviews saying that it's not the last we have seen of LP, but from the way they word it it doesn't look good...at least that's my hope. Maybe the writers saw that with the show being moved to Fridays they had to do something drastic to get people to watch again and so they decided to get rid of the dead weight .

Tons of people are saying she's now a vampire, but honestly after having seen Klaus kiss her I was just so overwhelmed with joy to even pretend for a little while that she's dead-dead. I have a month to rejoice in my fantasy .

I don't think Camille fans are a majority at all. I think they're still in the minority, especially if you read twitter and facebook comments about her. I think it's really just the writers that are the issue here. They are too stubborn to see that she's not working for the general audience. Some do love her (god knows why), but most don't care about her character at all. She needs to go.

All the writers need to see is that a few people like her and then they'll use that as an excuse to keep her around, which is ironic since they admitted to minimising Enzo's screen time once they realized he wasn't as popular as they expected him to be.

Lol Joseph's chemistry is always stale with the basic looking chics, he looks like a cannibal in there

For me it's not so much the looks, but her terrible character. Camille could be played by the "hot girl" and I would still be bored af with her. The character is just bland and has nothing about her that's interesting.

My thing is that it makes her more unbearable to watch. She'd be annoying as hell either way, she's not even ugly, but there's so many characters in TVD/TO who were so poorly written but at least had the fortune of being good to stare at. There's no pros with the cons for Camille.
