It will be quite strange to see Nina play a completely different character. I wonder if her chemistry with Ian will be different than when she plays Elena?

I'm not a fan of Damon and Katherine in the books, but I think I will fall in love with Damon and Katherine in the show!!! I have no idea why.

Show-wise, yes, I do see that Damon did love Katherine. I actually think their love is more of the unexplored love. Something like they wanted to be with each other but just couldn't.
