:: About Candice ::
Born on May 13, 1987 in Orlando, Florida,
Candice Accola is a newcomer to the movie industry,
and starred in her first movie in the year of 2007.
The movie was called Pirate Camp and it was a huge success for Candice,
as she scored two more roles. The first was a guest appearance
in the hit tv show “How I Met Your Mother” (2007) and the other
was a small appearance in the award winning movie Juno (2007).
She also starred in two more movies the same year, one called “On the Doll”
where she acted against Brittany Snow, and “X’s & O’s”.

Upcoming for Candice now is “Deadgirl”, a movie about two boys
discovering a dead girl's body in the basement of an abandoned
mental asylum, “Kingshighway” and “The Truth About Angels”,
both coming out this year (2009).

But she has really grown into stardom because of her amazing voice.
She has been a back-up singer and dancer for Miley Cyrus during her
“Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour” in 2008.
And she has released her own album too, featuring songs mostly about her
bad break up with an ex boyfriend. The albums is called “It’s Always the
Innocent Ones” and was released in 2008.

:: About Caroline ::
Caroline Forbes is a beautiful and vivacious 17 year old.
She is one of Elena's oldest friends, and her rival.
The two girls are in competition for most things,
whether it's on the football field as a cheerleader,
or in the school hallways for the cutest boys.
Caroline is determined to beat Elena to Stefan
when the new mysterious boy shows up at school.

I'm beginning to see why Caroline and her mother seem to clash. While her mother clearly loves her, Caroline's already major insecurities seem to brought out by her. I don't think her mother meant to put her down with the journalism jab but whether meaning to or not she did.

Still dont really care for Caroline and Matt.

I just came in to say that I think Caroline can actually be very deep. Like her speech to Bonnie last week, that was absolutely moving.

Well I think Caroline acts a bit shallow on the outside so she doesn't have to expose herself to anyone and get rejected for being herself, lol. I think she's just really insecure and needs someone like Matt because he's a good guy and she needs to build up her confidence, lol. I mean she has great chem with Damon but he doesn't treat her right. I don't think her mom understands what she needs either right now.

Yes she's just really insecure and obviously it hurts her that people don't see her deeper layers and I think that's what her problem with her mother is.

I think sometimes she doesn't know how to show a deeper side of herself. She's been doing it another way for so longer. Atleast we got proof her mom loves her last episode.

I never had a doubt that her mom loves her.
the problem was in her way to show it.
see, she only showed that love while Caroline was sleeping.
I think that space between them happened because of caroline's father. anyone knows what happened to him btw?

Her parents are divorced and her father has moved away and is gay. I'm willing to assume though that Caroline blames her mother for the divorce. She doesn't seem to hate her father.
