I hope if SC ever do start a romance it's at the end of the show so they have a better chance of staying together.

See that pretty much how I see it too. If they ever get romantic I don't think it would happen until maybe the last season or two. In the meantime they would become really close friends. This is if they go the romantic route. If not they just become really awesome BFFS. Win/Win situation for me.

As long as they have scenes together I'm happy

I'm glad that the writers saw the chemistry between Paul and Candice and invested on the SC friendship

To me it can only get better, and a possible relationship would be the icing on the cake

I really am glad about that too! We rarely get to see friendships on this show. This is probably my first guy/girl friendship that I loved.

It's rare to see a genuine guy/girl friendship on shows, so I'm really glad we have the chance to see a amazing one

I just watched the new episode and SERIOUSLY, was it me or was Stefan really checking out Caroline and couldn't get his eyes off her during their scene?

I feel like shows never make a male/female friends without it turning sexual. So it's nice to see SC enjoy each other's company without having sex on the brain.

I love the scenes that go on between Caroline and Stefan. I think what's beautiful is that Stefan saw Caroline at her worst. Even throughout the season when Caroline revealed herself to her mother, her mother turned her back on her. Caroline revealed herself to Bonnie, and Bonnie turned her back on her. So I think that's just such a wonderful friendship. And I don't know where it's going to go. I'm excited. I think there's enough love triangles on the show, and I think it is important to show Caroline just having a friendship with someone of the opposite sex that isn't based on a potential relationship. I think it is important for women to have men that are friends and for men to have women that are friends. And that's what it's about. Those are such beautiful friendships. I'm glad that the writers are exploring them.
