No. I've read the books and Bonnie/Alaric are nothing like Alaric/Meredith. Bonnie and Alaric are getting close as friends this season, but I don't sense any romantic vibes with them.

I hope they'll stay this way, I really can't see them becoming a romantic thing :shrug: I mean, nothing against a teacher-student thing, but not them :shrug: :no:

I honestly don't know if their relationship will turn romantic. I want to say no, but I've gotten some weird vibes in a couple of their scenes. It might just be Matt & Kat's chemistry, though. :shrug:

Well, their IRL age difference isn't too massive and they've worked together for seven years, so it's really nothing to be surprised about if there is at least a semblance of sparks. On the show though it would be epically weird :lol:

^ Age difference is not a problem to me, it's their story together, which isn't so build up for many reasons :shrug: Also, now that Jo is back, I can't see Alaric drop her for Bonnie :confused: Probably she won't last, but still, I'd find it strange, expecially with the twins in the FF :shrug:
