The more I re-watch their reunion in the afterlife, the more I find it very touching and beautiful and intense, it makes me so emotional, Ian and Paul were very good in that

Despite romantic endgames the bros were the "real endgame" in the series .

Never doubt that, to me it was obvious since the pilot, it would have been the bros + a romantic endgame, it was the only possible definitive choice, I'm glad the bros one turned out beautifully made too

Very much a "only I can beat on my brother no one else" type of relationship . I wish we had gotten more flashbacks to their human lives pre-Katherine.

Only they can fight and annoy each other, none else allowed

I wanted more scene of them as kids, like in season7 flashbacks, that'd have been cute to watch

Agree. I love the Mikaelsons, but Defan literally did die for each other so....

They weren't always perfect with each other but they definitely loved each other very much They had only some problems to show it every now and then
