Well they have fun in that episode where they were all drinking humans and drinking at the bar and talking about stuff! I mean that's about as loose as it's going to get in the show, so much impending doom leads to everyone not having so many light moments.

if damon/rebekah were to becoem a couple of some sort this is the 3rd tiem they

They seem to have dropped the Stefan/Rebekah stuff pretty quickly though.

p.s. I'd love to be added, I love both brothers and love their complicated dynamic!

I loved their dynamic in S1 and S2, 3.08 was awesome but otherwise S3 has been a let down when it comes to Defan's relationship

Hopefully it will get better when Elena makes a choice or Damon and Stefan both back off.

I've loved it this season actually.

And I LOVED their scenes tonight. I'm glad their SL was really just with each other. I adore them honestly.

I loved them tonight, their old dynamic was back and every Defan scene felt natural. It seems like the rest of the season will focus on their relationship so I'm really excited about Team Salvatore for the first time in a while.

Me too! Like I obviously have my preferred ship in the triangle but I LOVE all three characters and I especially adore the Damon/Stefan relationship, no matter how complicated or messy.

And I loved in the EW article that JP said DS was basically OTP

There's just something about them. I think because it IS so complex and difficult that i's so compelling to watch and certainly never dull!
