The scene where they hug in a 1864 flashback (episode 1.06), Stefan was so happy that Damon was back from the war and they were just adorable.

But I also love their scenes in 1.09 where they play darts and football

I love the parallels in the recent episode to 1x17. Damon can't stand to see his brother hurt and would have given up coffin to save him. They'll always save each other! I think this quote sums up their saving each other complex:

Favourite? Thats tough. I've been enjoying them quite a bit at the moment. Stefan is quite funny when he's sarky and it just comes natural to Damon so the 'lovers tiff' thats going on between them is rather amusing.

And who doesn't love the flashbacks of their Human years? Personally I wouldn't mind some more of them.
